👻 Haunted Lost Boys Omnibus You Say?

Remember when I teased y’all about a possible lux hardcover edition of the Lost Boys Omnibus? When I said, IF you’d rather have a fancy hardcover you should hold off on purchasing any Lost Boy SEs???

Well…

I’ve been working on something fancy and fun and lux with my dear friend Gianna at Dark & Quirky for several months now and I finally have a sneak peek to share with you!

Introducing the VLB Haunted Omnibus Edition

It’ll likely come as no surprise to any of you that Halloween is one of my fav holidays. In fact, I got married on October 25th and we had a Halloween theme, that’s how committed I am to all things haunted, spooky, gothic, and dark. 🎃😎

I had this concept for the art of Peter Pan with a skull superimposed over top of him for quite a while. And when my friend Ashley alerted me to commission openings with Will Hatch, I immediately knew I wanted him to create this cover. If you’ve read the Lost Boys Halloween Bonus, you’ll remember all the boys dressed up as skeletons! And if you haven’t read the bonus, it’s included in the back of the omnibus! (but it’s also available for free right here)

This edition has a reversible dust jacket with foiling on both sides. One side features the boys with lime green foiling, the other features the treehouse with silver foiling.

Beneath the dust jacket is a naked leather hardcover with lime green and silver foiling.

And the page edges are the same metallic green.

There’s also a linen slipcover with foiling that matches the naked hardcover. Foiled endpapers. Brand new chapter headers! And every copy is hand-signed by me.

Our goal is to release them in October just in time for spooky season. These will be limited and I will not do another print run. When copies are gone, they are gone. As time goes on, I’m trying to be more selective in SEs. I love working with artists and creating new editions (I’m kinda addicted — if I’m honest, I make these FOR ME — sharing them with you is just a bonus!) But I want to be sure that whatever editions I put out moving forward are intentional — less chaos-monster-making-pretties 😅😂

We’re still working out logistics, but I’m hoping I can give y’all early access to the release. As soon as I know for sure, I’ll let you know! Along with date, prices, and all the other details (as a side note, I will be aiming for affordability on this edition as much as possible) 🖤🖤
